| As a member of a band that plays out fairly often, you'll find yourself carrying equipment to and from gigs on a regular basis. It's important to use the correct method for transport of said equipment. Never, under any circumstances, use "professional" items such as "anvil cases," "road cases," or "trap cases." Always carry equipment (be it effects pedals, tuners, or drum hardware) either loose, or in cardboard boxes, or in paper or cloth bags. | |||||

| Never use cases with wheels attached. While they may seem like a good way to facilitate movement of equipment, wheels exude an image of efficiency, which would betray your "street credibility" as rocker. If wheels cannot be avoided, consider a device that sports one broken wheel. Such a device is the singular exception to The Case Law. |
